I can Not put in the flatline barrel on my tippmann 98 custom?

I Have a Tippmann 98 custom paintball gun, and i can not install the barrel.I unscrewed the regular barrel, and tried to screw in the bent flatline barrel but it is really hard to screw it in. and i made sure it is the flatline barrel for the 98 custom.

um you made no mention of the adapter. Shouldn't there be an adapter? Check out this "how to install" flash walk through.

read carefully because they've upgraded the barrel so that it doesn't have the equalizer that they refer to unless you have an old barrel.

If that's not working....take it to a shop (or back to the shop you bought it). Most paintball shops will do the install themselves if you bought it from them. If you can't figure it out, pay a couple bucks and just have them do it.
