Unable to send and read mails, no response from double clicks on mails?

I'm not able to send and read mails at this moment. I'm able to view all the mails in the inbox and in the preview plane but when I double click on the mails, there is no response.

The button "New" for writing a new mail message is also has no respond when I click on it.

I think Yahoo is working on their system again. I was unable to even access my husband's account the other day for him. I could access mine and my daughter could access hers but not my husband's for about 30 minutes. I just hope if they are working on it that they actually improve things. Often "improvements" are not so good with things.
