Well, this isn't what you mean, but I do this. Just a siggestion so you could do something similar.

Before tryouts or a big game, I play the CD "Kid A" by Radiohead first, to clear my mind of any negative thoughts or overreacting nerves. The album really makes you think about other things, it distracts you.

Then I pop in the album "Marquee Moon" by Television, which gets me excited and energetic. Then I go in and kick @ss.

I find that pumping up isn't all you need, you need to clear every thought about the game out of your head first, and then use some music to hype you up. If I just pump up without clearing my head, I get excited and energetic, but it increases my nerves as well.
