The Sport of Paintball

For more than a decade now, the sport of paintball has been known as one of the world's most exciting outdoor sport. Paintball is played in over 40 countries by millions of people of all ages and lifestyle. As said, It is anybody's game. Men, women, students ,minimum waged workers, social workers, professionals, even retirees, all players share the love for adventure and strong competitive spirit in playing paintball. In places like Niagara, paintball is one of the most famous action sport there is.

What is a paintball?

A paintball is a round, gelatin capsule with a thin skin-colored liquid inside. Paintballs like large doses of vitamin round beads or bath oil. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-corrosive, water soluble and biodegradable. It washes out from clothes and skin with soap and water. Paintballs come in different variety of colors: pink, orange, yellow, white, pink, neon green, and many more. A paintball is supposed to have an average diameter of .68 inches, or 3/4s of an inch.

Paintball Gear

In playing paintball, you must be geared up for protection. You must be able to have mask/goggles, a body armor, armored gloves, a neck protector, a paintball marker, and the paintballs. A Paintball marker is also known as a paintball gun. This is actually the primary equipment for paintball. The paintball marker must have a loader attached for the marker to be kept fed with ammunition. The Mask or Goggles are the safety gear that players need to wear at all times to protect themselves from the paintballs. These masks completely cover the eyes, mouth, ears and nostrils of the user, and masks can also include throat protection. The modern masks are not bulky so it is easy to wear it during the game.

The Body Armor is one of the optional gears to wear during playing paintball. Most players play without wearing body armors and wear their shirts instead.

The Armored gloves might not seem like the most pivotal type of paintball protective gear, but it really is. The entire game of paintball can be destructed by something as minor as getting shot in the hand. It hurts and it is going to be difficult to hold the gun and/or pull the trigger.

doest it hurt bad?(i manage pain pretty good ) and does the suit they give you enough protective???

It can hurt depending on the distance away when you get shot, and where you get hit, but more often than not it is no big deal. most of the time you get hit in a place that really doesn't hurt at all. Where i list the 5 worst places to be hit. Of course the idea is to protect those places.

If they are giving you suits to wear, I assume it is some sort of overall jumper thing. Then it only offers a little bit of protection. Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt is what I'd recommend.
