With a fresh coastal breeze gracing the air and a year round, sun-kissed climate, San Diego is the perfect city to head to whatever the season. Featuring a medley of quirky neighbourhoods, bucketfuls of watery fun and bursting with culture, there is something to excite and entertain even the pickiest of travellers.

Running over three days, you are guaranteed to have a rocking time.

For the art lovers of you out there, ArtWalk is a definite must-see. Set in Little Italy, it is the city’s biggest urban arts event and is a great way to experience the creativity present there. Both local and national artists gather together to present their masterpieces, which range from paintings, sculptures and architecture, right through to dance!

The Carlsbad Spring Fair is another great event to attend. Ideal for taking the children to, there are over 900 vendors offering up their wares, as well as a number of exhibitors, street performers and rides available. Guaranteed to keep the whole family busy, this fair is perfect for whiling away a fun-filled, pleasurable day.

Boasting a packed and diverse programme filled with music and crawfish, the Gator Bay Zydeco, Blues and Crawfish Festival is highly enjoyable. Featuring five stages and a wealth of music ranging from Cajun and blues to jazz and country, fans will be spoilt for choice. Not only that, but there is also an abundance of tasty cuisine available, including a number of Cajun and Creole specialities.

In addition to the plethora of events on offer, the city also offers up a tantalising array of restaurants, cafés and bars to enjoy, and a great selection of San Diego hotels and guest houses to relax in.
