Well I heard that if you go online with it, when you die, your character really dies for real. So if I backup a save file on my pc I can just replace the file when my good characters die?
I don't wanna lose raiden and his hf blade.

I believe that rule only apply to soldiers you have recruited (not the unique characters) - that's how it was in Metal Gear Portable Ops anyways.

But yes, as long as you have a back up save - you won't lose anyone ^_^
