How do i get started in motocross racing?

I'm 12 yrs old and love riding dirt bikes so i am looking to get into motocross but i don't really know how to get started! ... any suggestion???

If you don't already belong to a club or a track the first thing to do is find a local club or track and join up or find out what you need to do to start riding there. Look up local tracks in your area www.dirtwerkz.com or www.wheretomx.com
Go along to a race day and watch the racing to see if it is what you really want to do. If yes then speak to the race secretary about how to get a race licence and race number allocated or what other things you need to do to be able to race as things differ from country to country. Also make sure you read up on race rules and flag rules so you know what to do when on the track.
While there have a look at some of the bikes in the sections you could ride for your age.
You good bike for you to start on would be a crf150r. Ask a few of the locals what they think.
