Help! I used a home hair color remover kit and my hair is yellow. Actually my roots are bleached blonde?

The rest of my hair is a yellow/orange. I had an auburn color to start with and am looking for a nice natural blonde. I don't know what to use to get the yellow out. Should I use a color containing ash?? Also how long should I wait before recoloring??

well the last thing you want to do if you have blond on your roots and the rest yellow/orange is to put any kind of ash on it, it will look green/grey. You should go to a professional before you do anymore to your hair, chances are if their a good colorist, they will chose a lvl of blond that you will not have to lift anymore for, and fill it with a little red, sounds scary but it works. as far as a time before recoloring, i would not go any lighter anytime soon, to deposit a color, i would go right now.
