What style/color cabinets look good with black appliances and medium gray ceramic tile floor?

I am purchasing a foreclosure property. The kitchen has almost new black appliances and new medium gray 10 x 10 ceramic floor tile. It is 12 x 9, with the range, d/w and sink, plus all of the cabinets on one 12 foot wall; the fridge is on a wall 90 degrees counterclockwise from the cabinets. A friend suggested painting the walls red, which I am not entirely averse to, but I don't know what to do about the cabinets (they HAVE to be replaced!). All suggestions are welcome!

I think maple, cherry, or white painted cabinets would look goodwith the tile and black appliances.
