There is no way to properly answer this question. However electric guns I personally believe are less reliable, because of the electronics. There are many ways the gun could malfunction, and if it starts raining while you are playing, you could ruin your gun. Mechanical guns have many little parts that can break, and something could go wrong. Rain won't destroy a mechanical gun right away. Mechanical guns are also much cheaper to fix, but shoot much slower. Electro guns have more expensive parts to replace.
