questions reguarding the Spyder Electra paintball marker?

im kind of new to paintball and i plan to get an electra but i want to know alot about it b4 i get one and i have some questions.
1. what is eye?
2. where do i buy the spyder 9.6v rechargeable battery?
3. what is the difference between the 3 firing modes?
(Semi-Auto, Ramp PSP, & Ramp Millennium)
4. what does PSP stand for?
5. whats ramping?
6. should i get another barrel?(if so what do u suggest?)
7. what is a good brand of paintballs?
8. should i adjust velocity on the marker?
9. does the battery also charge up the EYE?
10. should i leave the EYE on when i paintball?
11. is it a good marker?

i am a speedballer, i am fairly new to paintball, and this is my first marker to buy and i want to get into paintball because its an extremely fun sport.

1. Eye is an LED sensor inside the breach. It allows the gun to only fire if the eye(s) see a paintball, regardless of how many times you pull the trigger.
2. The Electra comes with a rechargeable battery.
3. Semi-auto is standard firing mode. One trigger pull = one shot. Ramping means the gun goes into full auto if you reach and maintain a certain trigger pattern. PSP & Millenium are different tournament series with different rules regarding ramping so the board is programmed for each.
4. PSP is Paintball Sports Promotions. It's a tournament series.

6. Try the stock barrel first, with some good paint. If you notice it's not very accurate, THEN shop around for a barrel CP makes good, cheap barrels.
7. Karnage, Draxxus, RPS.
8. You will need to adjust the velocity to equal or be less than 300 fps, the legal limit. Most fields limit it to 285 fps.
9. Eye doesn't need charging. It just work off the battery power.
10. Eye on is default, and you should definitely leave them on.
11. It's a pretty good marker for the price, yes.
