Buying camo blanket for airsoft sniping?

I dont have the money or the resources to buy or make a ghillie suit. The next best thing is a cover for camouflage. I plan to buy the Gander Mountain® RealTree AP HD® Camo Burlap to cover me when I lay down. Does anyone have experience with camo blankets? I would sew a green mosquito netting on the bottom of the blanket to make it darker and sew clusters of varying green jute for concealment. Thanks for the answers!

If it were me I would rather get the netting and ghillie that. Just go to walmart or a fabric store and buy some burlap and dye, make various shades of green and brown that match your local foliage and tie strips and strings of the burlap onto the netting (you could even cut up the burlap cloth you posted since it's already colored). This will give you the 3 dimensional effect that a ghillie suit would offer with the convenience of a blanket that you can just fold up and not put on. This should be fairly cheap (though time consuming). And remember when using a ghillie, as you move into various surroundings you should pick up pieces of plants and tie them into your suit (or net in this case) so it blends in. A ghillie isn't meant to be a static item, it should constantly evolve because it should always be adapting to the environment.
